Authorising quickclaim to access the Digital Partner Portal on your behalf

quickclaim can only access the NDIS APIs after being authorised to do so in the Australian Taxation Office's (ATO's) Relationship Authorisation Management (RAM) portal.  This article provides a step-by-step guide on how to do this.

Before you can complete any of the steps listed below, please ensure that you have set up your Digital ID and are either a Principal Authority or Authorised Administrator of your organisation in RAM.  If you haven't linked your Digital ID to your organisation in RAM, then you can follow the instructions here to do so.

Step 1: Add a quickclaim representative as a new user in RAM and add their details:

Step 2: Choose 'Standard User' as the Representative Type

Step 3: Select 'Machine Credential Administrator' as their Authorisation

RAM - Add Authorisation

Note that if you would like the quickclaim representative to have the ability to manage access to this feature, select the 'Authorisation Administrator' authorisation type as 'Yes', however, this is not necessary and we do not recommend it.

You may also choose to add an end date to the authorisation, but you will need to re-authorise the quickclaim user at this date.

Step 4: Authorise access the NDIS Developer Portal for Digital Partners

Search for Digital Partner or National Disability Insurance Agency in the search bar and select 'NDIS - Developer Portal for Digital Partners' using either the checkbox on the left or right of the screen.

RAM - Agency Details

Step 5: Accept the terms and submit the authorisation

Once this is done, the quickclaim user will receive a request to join your organisation and should be able to complete all the remaining steps to enable you as a Digital Partner.
