Establish your live connection to the AgedCare portal (support at home) -- Using Support at Home API
In this article you will establish your live connection between quickclaim and the Services Australia Aged Care Web Services.
There are three steps in connecting to the Aged Care Web Services (Support at Home) API. Part 1 is on the PRODA website, Part 2 is within the quickclaim app and Part 3 is by submitting a form to Services Australia.
Part 1: Setting up the B2B Device on PRODA
To be able to create a new device, you need to have access to your organisation on PRODA.
1.1 Login to your PRODA account (https://proda.humanservices.gov.au/) and click on the Organisations tab in the top right corner
If you don't have access to your organisation account you need to first either JOIN or even maybe even Register New Organisation on PRODA. Follow the below links to create/join your organisation:
1.2 Then click on the name of your organisation and proceed to the Manage My Organisation page. on that page click on the Service Provider tab.
Then click on the Add Service Provider and select Aged Care Web Services from the list.

1.3 Click on the B2B Devices tab and then click on the Register New B2B Device button.
Enter quickclaim-sah (all lower case) as the Device Name and then click on the Register Device button.

1.8 Write down your Device Activation Code as you need in Part 2. Also check that your Device Name is quickclaim-sah (all lowercase).

Part 2: Enter your B2B Device details in quickclaim
2.1 Login to your quickclaim account and click on Support at Home tab on the side bar. Then click on Providers tab (https://billing.quickclaim.io/support-at-home/providers).

2.2 Click the Add button under Registrations and fill in the following details, then click the green tick to save.
- Registration: Your Registration number
- ABN: Your Australian Business Number
- PRODA RA: Your PRODA Registration number, which you wrote down in step 1.4
- Device Name: quickclaim-sah (note that this is case sensitive)
- DVA: Your PRODA Device Activation Code, which you wrote down in step 1.8
- NAPS ID: Your unique service identifier for making claims to Services Australia

When the API connection is live the status will change from to Active

Part 3: Submit the AC027 Form to Services Australia
In order for quickclaim to send and receive data on your behalf, Services Australia require you to complete the "Register or update for aged care web services (AC027)" form, which can be downloaded here.
For good order:
- the Registered Providers is the legal name of the entity providing the services under Support at Home;
- PRODA Organisation RA is the [usually] 10-digit Registration Authority number belonging to your organisation's PRODA account;
- Active Device Name is the name you gave the B2B Device in PRODA, noting that this is case sensitive (we suggested quickclaim-sah above)

- Software name is quickclaim;
