Support At Home Overview
The Support at Home module in quickclaim enables providers to manage, process, and submit claims for the Support at Home Program funded by Services Australia. This program is part of Australia’s aged care system, designed to help older Australians remain independent and continue living in their own homes for as long as possible.
The module connects directly to Services Australia through secure APIs, ensuring that all claim transactions, budgets, and service codes align with government specifications. Each action within this module corresponds to an official Services Australia code, allowing for compliant and automated claim processing.

Purpose of the Program
Support at Home provides funding to eligible older Australians (referred to as care recipients) so they can access services such as personal care, cleaning, home maintenance, transport, assistive technology, and home modifications. These supports are delivered at the care recipient’s home and are tailored to their assessed needs and funding level.
Service Levels
Care recipients are assigned a Support Level (from Level 1 to Level 8) based on their assessed needs.
-
Level 1 represents basic support needs.
-
Level 8 represents higher or complex care needs.
An additional Palliative Care level exists for recipients requiring end-of-life support.
How It Works in quickclaim
-
quickclaim automatically syncs with Services Australia to retrieve participant (care recipient) details, budgets, and item codes.
-
Providers can record and manage services delivered, and quickclaim calculates available funds based on the current quarter’s budget.
-
Claims are validated against Services Australia’s rules before submission, reducing errors and ensuring compliance.
-
The module also allows users to view historical transactions, budget consumption, and care recipient information in one place.
